Sites to See

Here are a few sites that I recommend for learning more about massage, finding some good art and live music (yes, I'm biased) and hooking up with quality local folks who provide services that we all need from time to time.

Center for Massage and Natural Health

American Massage Therapy Association

National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

Massage Angels—a comprehensive massage directory and other resources

Nationwide Massage—a national online directory where you can search for a massage therapist by ZIP code... great for when you travel!

Migun of Asheville—Try out a Migun thermal massage bed for free... for life. Highly recommended.

The Muses—Asheville's a cappella powerhouse

Carlton Whatley—computer and networking services

Heather Lewis—visionary artist and really cool girl

The Paddock Group—creative print and digital marketing

Heidi Stewart—our favorite attorney/mediator

All Kids Pediatrics—Asheville's greatest pediatricians. I provide free chair massages at their New Mommy Support Group, which meets the first Wednesday of every month from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Christine Forsyth Jewellery—hand-made designer jewellery crafted in Scotland by—you guessed it—my clever Mum. It really is something special.

Old St. Michaels—a stunning 4-star self-catering flat in Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland operated by my lovely brother and sister-in-law. Definitely worth a visit!

ArtSpace Charter School—a tuition-free public school in Asheville offering a unique arts-integration curriculum for students in grades K–8.

NAPPING ROCKS.
If you can't make it in for a massage, a catnap in the sun is another great way to recharge your batteries. And sticking your tongue out while you snooze prevents snoring.
